Thereisamapviewinthecenterofwindowwhere
mapisshown.Belowitisinformationareafor
showingstatusofcurrentoperation,mapresolution
inmetersperpixelandGPScoordinatesforcurrent
view.Thereisalsootherinformationsshown,line
downloadedsizeduringsavingofmap.Thereare
buttonsfordownloadactionsandparameter
selectorsonthetopofthewindow.

Navigatingthroughthemapisdonebyclickinginto
oneoffivepartsofmapview.Clickinginto
centralpartwillloadmapwithhigherresolution.
Stepbackispossiblebyrightbuttonclick
anywhereonthemap.Clickonsidepartsofmap
movesmapbythatdirection.Mousecursoris
changedaccordingtoitspositiononmapviewto
signalizepossibleaction.Ifthereisnot
availablemapinselectedresolutionontheserver,
thereisdisplayedspecialpicturetosignalizeit.

Onceselectedviewisfounddownloadcanbestarted
byclickingonMake!button.Thiswillsavemapin
currentresolutionandsizeselectedincombobox.
Savedwillbecurrentvieworselectedareaifwas
madebyselectionrectangle.Thereispossibility
toselectonlysmallpartofmapbymouse.When
selectedareaismarked,mapimagewillbesaved
onlyforthisarea,notforwholemap.

Largestpicturecanbesavedbyselectinghighest
resolutionwhichwillmakepicturebiggerthan
8192x8192pixelsandverylargeTIFFfileor
compressedjpegfilewillbesaved.Itisbetterto
uselargemapresolutionswithsmallselectedarea
toreducefilesizeandtimeduringdownloadingof
map.OziExplorerorotherselectedmapfileis
automaticallygeneratedforsavedmapview.

Programcanbeusedinbatchprocessingwith
commandlineparameters.
Parametersare:latitudelongitudewidthheigth
level
Latitudeandlongitudemustbeindecimalnumber
formatofdegrees(DD),widthandheightarein
pixels,levelisnumberfrom1to20dependingon
mapresolution.Latitudeandlongitudeare
coordinatesofupperleftcornerofmap,highlevel
numberscanmakeblackmapbecauseofmissingtiles
onservers.
