第一次世界大戰（簡稱一戰，1914年8月-1918年11月）是一場主要發生在歐洲但波及
到全世界的世界大戰。當時世界上大多數國家都捲入了這場戰爭。由AGEOD開發，
Ascaron於2008年11月發行的戰略遊戲《WorldWarOne（第一次世界大戰）》，將帶領
玩家來到這場歐洲歷史上破壞性最強的戰爭之中。玩家在遊戲中可以指揮包括英國、德
國和俄羅斯在內的八個國家的軍隊和艦隊，在場慘烈的戰爭中設法獲取勝利並恢復和平
。

ThroughoutWorldWarOneplayerswillencountermanygenuineandfactual
elementsthatrecreatetheatmosphereoftheGreatWar.Thegameincludes
famouscharacterssuchasLawrenceofArabia,LordKitchener,Leninand
theRedBaron;militaryunitswillrequireeffectivecommandsuchastanks
inthefieldandartilleryinthetrenches;atsea,navalaboveZeppelins
willscouttogatheressentialinformationonenemypositionsandstrengths.

JustastherealWorldWarOneleadersdid,playersmustcommission
scientificresearchbeforecertainweaponsandtypesofstrategycanbe
implemented.Forexample,tanksandotherarmouredvehiclescanonlybeused
whenmechanisedwarfarehasbeensuccessfullystudied.
